Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Supervisor provides direction to drive all maintenance activities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair of all equipment, implementing a comprehensive PM program, scheduling of work, training of maintenance personnel, and maintaining enough inventory of spare parts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands, follows all established safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices
- Identifies and corrects problems, applies scientific knowledge and experience in making repairs and trains others in areas of expertise; documents changes; addresses questionable parts.
- Overall responsible for the maintenance, safety, environment for the entire facility and properties of Pinnacle Plastic Products. This includes all water, air, pavements, walls, ceilings, roof, lawn, electrical, hydraulics, pumps, motors, etc.
- Direct supervision of all maintenance and purchasing agent for maintenance items, plus work with all outside contractors we hire to do a job..
- Reduce cost via higher efficiencies by keeping presses, and other secondary equipment in good working order.
- Responsible to ensure all equipment and machines, are operational and safe with all safety features in place. Must ensure all proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)is available and being used for each specific task.
- Responsible that Pinnacle Plastic Products meet all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
· Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
· Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field.
· Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management
· Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
· Be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Must provide own tools. |
